Shoresearch Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve
10.00am - 12.00pm.
This is beachcombing with a purpose: a way of surveying the beach and recording what's found. Throughout the year we will be running a monthly Shoresearch at various locations on the Lincolnshire coast. Through these surveys we hope to build a better picture of what lives where - and we need your help. The surveys are very straightforward, previous knowledge of marine wildlife isn't necessary as there will be experts on hand to help with identification. All you need to do is book so we know you're coming and then turn up on the day!

Stargazing LIVE Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve

Join professional astronomer Paul Money at Gibraltar Point to discover the stellar highlights of the winter skies. Away from light pollution, the dark skies of Gibraltar Point are perfect for stargazing, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn more and get remarkable close-up views of stars, galaxies, planets and moons. If skies are clear, we'll seek out Jupiter and comet Levy. The event consists of an indoor illustrated talk and an opportunity to observe the night sky through powerful telescopes, it will take place even if the sky is cloudy. Winter Waterbirds Guided Walk Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve
9.00am - 11.30am.
A chance to discover what waterbirds are overwintering at Gibraltar Point with our bird expert. Followed by an optional bowl of delicious soup.
